Amazon.com Review

Hang on to Toto when you fire this baby up--the air blast out of this blower is phenomenal! The literature says it produces up to a 215 mph current, and they're not kidding. It converts in a few seconds to a vacuum by removing the inlet tube and cover; just hook the front of the vacuum tube on and snap. Attach the generous bag and you're ready to pick up the mountain of leaves you've blown. As it vacuums, the fan impeller will mulch the leaves down, too, reducing 10 bags to 1. We like the ergonomic handle and the comfortable strap. The tubes are sturdy and won't crack if you accidentally whack them. It's a light unit at 7.3 pounds, and it's not nearly as loud as most, though at 69 decibels, you'll still want to wear ear protection. Bravo, Toro! --Kris Jensen-Van Heste

100' extension cord is heavy!        Rating:

It works great. Downside is I need a 100' extension cord to reach to the edge of my yard. I found after a while that it is a pain to get out a 100' cord and especially to put it away again.

I likes me Toro 51591        Rating:

I have this model. I bought it on Amazon last leaf-raking season to quickly replace my 10-year-old Toro 51582, so it's made it through 2 fall's.

There are a few nagging little design flaws (the bag never seems to "hang" any place where it's not just as easy to drag it!), I think this is a good tool for the money spent.

This one's a little more powerful than my first one. I have a walnut tree that tosses off little "twigs" -- not sticks and not leaves. They tended to clog up my first Toro. The 51591 sucks 'em up and mulches 'em a lot better.

All in all -- I'd have to say this item REALLY SUCKS!!!

SUPER BLOWER        Rating:

The blower does put out a strong air stream. It has worked extremely well. Fairly light and easy to use. Haven't tried the vacuum. It sucks so hard that if you you get it too close to your pants it will try to suck them in.
